"Mad libs" are fun ways to learn the parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and so on), practise reading and writing skills. Students are asked to complete a story without seeing its text by filling in the blanks with particular parts of speech. After that they press 'reveal' button and read 'the silly story' they have created. As a follow-up activity they could be asked to edit their story so that it makes sense and write it down in their copybooks.
If registered (for free), the teacher can create his own script of the story to use with the pupils, thus covering the necessary topic or target vocabulary. (the 'Create' button is at the very bottom of the page, under the scrips of other users).
This page could also be used for any text from our coursebooks. We can type in the text that we have read with our pupils in class and ask them to fill in the missing words from the text.
There's one more idea in Option 4 of the Instructions.
